At The Cat Protection Society, our volunteers are indispensable in assisting our staff with the daily care of the Cats and Kittens at our shelter and helping to promote CPSV in our local community. To learn more about volunteering with our Society, click here. 

Joining The Cat Protection Society of Victoria as a Foster Carer offers the immensely gratifying experience of nurturing and supporting some of our most vulnerable cats and kittens until they find their forever homes.

Our Foster Care program plays a pivotal role within our Shelter, enabling us to extend our reach and assist a greater number of cats and kittens each year. It also ensures that our adoption candidates receive the socialisation and care they need to thrive before transitioning to their permanent homes. Located in Greensborough within The Cat Protection Society Adoption Shelter, our Vet Clinic provides Cat doctors, surgeons, and behaviourists as well as specific veterinary equipment to cater for your Cat (or Cats!) needs across their lifetime. We offer a range of services including vaccinations, desexing procedures, microchipping, and the treatment for the full range of Cat conditions and illnesses. To learn more, click here.
