Meet Bolt, a quiet, gentle soul with so much love to give. This furry friend began life in a challenging environment where individual attention from humans was scarce. That’s why meeting new people and new environments might make him a bit timid and nervous at first. But don’t let his initial shyness fool you.
Bolt blossoms under the influence of a confident, yet friendly feline friend who can guide him. Show him patience, understanding, and the loving environment he deserves, and he will reward you with the deepest companionship.
Once comfortable, Bolt craves to be near his beloved humans. And wait until you see this little guy get his paws on his favourite toys – ping pong balls! You’ll find endless amusement watching him bat his cherished toy around the room.
Getting to know Bolt may require a bit of time – it will take a few weeks for Bolt to feel safe and start showing his true, adorable personality. But once he begins, it’s a heart-warming transformation that you can’t help but fall in love with.
Points From his Foster Home –
• Will go crazy for anything that is a ball, especially ping pong balls.
• Very very treat motivated. I can lure him out easily with a treat , or when he’s scared
of being pat I give him a treat whilst I pat him and he’s okay.
• He started really opening up when I got him in a carrier and pet him in there. I could
do it for hours and he’d fall asleep. He got into a routine of it and started to cry and
meow when I didn’t do it.
• Has never ever been aggressive- he’s never bitten, scratched or hissed and anyone
on purpose.
• He can be vocal when he wants attention
• He says hello and runs to you, but then runs away (eg when coming home)
• He DEFINITELY needs a friendly cat to show him the way and to be confident. He
loves his friend Poof and always gets happy to see her.
• SUPER friendly with other pets
• Likes to play/ paw at water bowls
• Likes to sit in fabric / enclosed spaces
• If anyone has trouble finding him, you can normally find him; behind a washing
machine/ fridge, in shelves, cat tree holes and under tables.
