Foster Profile: Timid Kitten Pair Seeking Calm Foster Home

We’re looking for a special foster home for two scared but sweet 3-month-old kittens—a male and a female—who came into the shelter as strays over the weekend. Although they’re big enough for adoption, they’re currently a little too timid to face the big, busy world just yet. These kittens need approximately 3 weeks in a quiet, calm environment to adjust to human interactions and build their confidence.

What We Know About Them

• Diet: Unknown due to their stray background, but they’ve spent the weekend eating, drinking, and toileting well, which is a great sign.
• Temperament: Flighty and timid, they will need time to feel safe and secure in a home environment.
• Health: No known medical concerns.

What They Need in a Foster Home

• A calm and quiet environment with minimal stress.
• A spare room where they can feel safe and begin to explore at their own pace.
• Someone patient and cat savvy who can help them learn that humans can be trusted, using treats, toys, and gentle interactions.
• Someone able to dispense anti anxiety medication (Gabapentin and Zylkene) into wet food on a daily basis.
