Chaplin’s Introduction:
Chaplin is a wonderful cat experiencing some tummy issues and occasional vomiting while in the shelter. To determine if stress is a contributing factor, we are looking for a foster home where he can stay for 2-3 weeks.

A home environment may reduce stress and improve his symptoms.
Close observation in a more relaxed setting can provide valuable information for his long-term care.
Chaplin will benefit from personal attention and love, helping him to feel secure and comfortable.

Dietary needs:

Chaplin is currently on a gastrointestinal diet to help settle his stomach. It is crucial that he continues with this specific food while in foster care to maintain consistency and support his digestive health.

Diet Management:
Ensure Chaplin is fed only his prescribed gastrointestinal diet.
Monitor his eating habits and note any changes in appetite or behaviour.

Provide a calm, quiet space for Chaplin to help reduce potential stress.
Minimize exposure to loud noises and other pets if possible.
Ensure he has access to a cosy, comfortable spot to rest.

Monitor and document Chaplin’s behaviour, including any instances of vomiting or other symptoms.
Observe his litter box usage for any signs of digestive issues.
Note any changes in his demeanour or overall well-being.

Maintain regular contact with the shelter to provide updates on Chaplin’s condition.
Report any concerns or notable changes to the Foster Coordinators.
