Meet Quasimodo, a handsome young guy with an irresistible charm and a gentle heart. While he might not be immediately outgoing, once he's in a safe and nurturing environment, his true colors shine through. Entering our care marked the beginning of his journey toward understanding love and attention from humans, and he is making strides every day.

Quasimodo has been placed in foster care to help him adapt and learn to trust those around him. It’s important to him that his new home be a tranquil haven where he can truly relax. A patient and experienced cat human would be the perfect match, along with a female human companion with whom he feels more at ease. He thrives best without the commotion of children or dogs.

He is still discovering the joys of ear scratches and gentle pats, and doesn't enjoy being picked up. He would flourish in a home with a friendly and confident feline companion who can help him navigate his world.

Happy in his own company, Quasimodo regularly explores areas on his own and enjoy being around humans. Being an indoor-only guy will ensure he stays safe from the sun, which is crucial for his white coat to protect against potential damage to his nose and ears.

Quasimodo has a subtle way of communicating his feelings, gently letting you know when he's had enough attention. With care and understanding, he has the potential to build a rewarding bond. If you're ready to provide a calm and loving environment, Quasimodo could be the independent and gentle feline you’ve been looking for.

From his foster home -
We feel it’s very important for Quasi to go into a home with at least one other cat, preferably one around his age who does enjoy play but is not too active. When living with the kittens, Quasi absolutely loved them, but he did struggle to engage with play a bit due to their size difference. We imagine a cat who is towards the moderate side of energy levels would be ideal for him.

When it comes to touch, picking up Quasi is definitely a no-go. He doesn’t enjoy being touched on his back at all and will only tolerate this if there are treats, though he does love some scratches around his head and neck. It will take some time for him to get used to new people, but once he does, he will happily accept the scratches. Sometimes, he may not be in the mood for it, if so, he will usually give a short hiss to tell you he needs his time.

Quasi is not a very food motivated cat in most situations, and while treats definitely help a lot with being able to touch him, we think that the best way to develop a strong bond with him is to build his trust by playing with him.

Despite not loving touch Quasi does show his affection in other ways, once he warms up you he’ll follow you around the house and meow at your door to be let in the room with you just to spend some time in your company.

When we brought the kittens in Quasi did need a bit of period to adjust to them, and his first reaction was just to sniff them through the crate, hiss and them and then walk away, but it didn’t take long at all for him to warm up to them and he’d follow them all around the house, playing and cuddling with them.
