Diagnosed Medical Condition – Kidney Disease

Explanation of condition: When Comet came into our care, it was noted he drank a lot of water. Blood and urine tests showed that he had some form of kidney damage / disease. Since that time, he has had repeat blood and urine tests, with the results now within the normal range. In himself, Comet is well, and has thrived in foster care. We are unsure about the original cause of his kidney damage / disease. We recommend he is fed a prescription renal food at home for the next 6 months. After that time he should have repeat blood and urine tests done with your regular veterinarian.
